GA Travel Association will offer a free bus pass to employees starting this week.

The company said in a blog post that it is the first major travel agency to offer the perk.

“As the most trusted travel partner in the world, GA Travel is proud to continue to be a valued partner with the GA Travel team and look forward to working together with them as they make GA Travel a destination for people to travel,” said John R. Taggart, GA Tourism’s President.

GA Travel will offer employees up to one year of free transit passes to travel, as well as travel reimbursements and a one-time bonus.

GA’s travel agency is one of the largest in the nation.

In 2015, the company added $7 billion to its workforce through new investments, including an investment in new facilities and expanded operations.

GA has been working with its U.S. partners to implement a free transit pass policy to help promote tourism and provide a level playing field for our workforce.

“GA Travel is the most valuable partner in travel today, and we are committed to providing our employees with a unique opportunity to enjoy the benefits of travel and earn an affordable ticket,” Taggard added.

GA, which serves nearly 50 million travelers in the U.P. and its Caribbean region annually, has long offered free transit for employees.

GA is the fifth largest airline in the country with more than 2.5 million employees and serves more than 4.6 million travelers each year.

GA began offering free transit to employees last year and is expected to be one of GA’s first major U.K. partners.
