Travel agents in Salem have started offering free rides to visitors who have paid $20 or more for a ticket, according to the Salem Oregon Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber posted the promotion on its Facebook page Thursday.

The ride is free to any Salem resident, but will be available for a limited time only for those in Salem who have booked their ticket at least 24 hours in advance.

“We’ve seen a few customers request this,” said Jim Todar, a Salem business owner and member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

“If you’re coming to Salem, you want to make sure you get your money’s worth.”

The ride is available through the Salem Travel Agency, which was established in 2011.

It offers discounts to the public at participating hotels and restaurants, as well as discounts to individuals and businesses.

The ride was originally offered to a select number of tourists, but was expanded to all customers in January 2017, according the Chamber.

Salem is known as a city of vacationers, with a population of about 2,000 people.

It has a large outdoor mall and a thriving arts and entertainment district.

The city also has a number of restaurants that offer free meals, including Cafe De Ville, Deli King, Tuna Fish, and Cactus.
